Cookie Policy

1. What cookies are

Cookies are small text files that a website places on your device to remember preferences, keep you signed in, and run basic analytics. "Similar technologies" โ€” local storage, pixels, SDKs โ€” work similarly. This policy covers all of them, even when we use the word "cookies" for short.

2. What we currently use on balladly.com

Essential

The website needs a small set of cookies to function: serving cached static files, supporting HTTPS, and basic security. These cookies do not identify you and do not track you across other websites. They cannot be disabled while still using the site normally.

Analytics

balladly.com does not currently run analytics cookies or scripts on this page. If we add them in the future (e.g., privacy-friendly aggregate analytics from Vercel, or a marketing pixel), we will:

Advertising

We don't currently run advertising cookies on the website.

3. Third-party cookies

The website embeds Google Fonts (loading the Bricolage Grotesque and Inter typefaces). Google may set cookies on the font-serving domain. Google's use of those cookies is governed by Google's privacy and cookie policies.

If you're an iOS user, the Balladly app itself (separate from this website) may use Apple's standard frameworks for in-app purchases and analytics. The data Apple collects is governed by Apple's privacy policy.

4. Managing your choices

You can clear or block cookies at the browser level. Each browser provides its own controls:

Blocking essential cookies may break parts of the site (e.g., security headers, cached delivery). Blocking non-essential cookies has no effect on your ability to use balladly.com.

5. Do Not Track signals

balladly.com does not currently respond to "Do Not Track" headers, because we don't run cross-site tracking that would need to be turned off. If we add tracking that responds to DNT or Global Privacy Control (GPC), we'll update this policy.

6. Changes to this policy

We may update this Cookie Policy. Changes will be reflected in the "Effective" date at the top. For material changes (e.g., adding analytics or marketing cookies), we'll show a notice on the website.
